Valley After School Tutoring (VAST): The Community Center’s award-winning Valley After School Tutoring (VAST) program offers reasonably priced, one-on-one tutoring and group homework clubs to local students. We have skilled tutors across all subjects and grade levels (K-8th). Whether your student needs specific support or just a quiet and encouraging environment to complete their homework, VAST has what they need! Many students attend Zoila’s or the LOFT and include a VAST tutoring session as part of their day. Staff will remind students of their session and will walk younger students to the VAST Room, located in Montessori Room 6. 

*All VAST request forms will be routed to the VAST Team for review. We will do our best to accommodate all schedule requests (days/times) and place students with a tutor in a timely manner.

VAST will be shifting to a pay in advance model for this school year and we will be using the VAST Memberships to allow families to purchase packs of 5 sessions (for students who attend 1 day/week) OR 10 sessions (for students who attend 2 days/week)

Days: Monday - Thursday
Times: 1 hour sessions between 3pm-5:00pm (M,T,TH) & 2pm-5:00pm (W)

Cost: 
VAST Tutoring 5 session pack: 
  • $125 ($25 per session for LOFT/Zoila's students)
  • $150 ($30 per session for non-LOFT/Zoila's students)
VAST Tutoring 10 session pack: 
  • $250 ($25 per session for LOFT/Zoila's students)
  • $300 ($30 per session for non-LOFT/Zoila's students)

Homework Club will be offered for students who are able to work independently but just need a place to go to get their homework completed. 

Cost:
  • 10 pack drop-ins: $100
