Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a powerful and effective form of self-defense designed to benefit the smaller opponent, using principles of leverage, angles, pressure and timing, as well as knowledge of human anatomy. In this class I will teach about situations in which self- defense should be used, why and how to protect yourself, the psychological aspects of self-defense and practical, hands on skills you can use to protect yourself in a physical conflict. Let’s create a powerful community of capable women who feel safe in the world.  I was born and raised in San Geronimo Valley. I graduated from SGV middle school and Archie Williams High School. I‘ve been in New Orleans for the last five years which is where I earned my purple belt under my professor Matthias Meister at NOLA Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I have just returned to live in our lovely valley. I am delighted to share the valuable self- defense skills I learned in 8 years studying Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, stand up kickboxing and the mental and emotional aspects of self-defense. 

FEE:               $25 dollars per class, 10 class for $175 (If you purchase a 10 pack your first class is free. Sliding scale available) 
DAYS/TIME:  Mondays, 4-5pm starting Dec 2nd 2024
