San Geronimo Valley Community Center's Cancellation Policy
Program Fees & Payment Policies
At the San Geronimo Valley Community Center, we work hard to keep our program fees lower than market average in order to make them accessible and affordable for all families in our community. We rely on timely payments to pay items such as staff and instructors, and purchase materials and snacks.
Payment & Outstanding Balances
Payment for programs is due at the time of registration. The Center understands that at times this might not be possible. If this is the case a payment arrangement plan must be agreed upon with Center staff before attending any program.
Outstanding balances must be paid in full or payment plan arrangements made before participants can enroll in additional programs.
We understand that different family members, guardians and caregivers may be responsible for the tuition for one student. The Responsible Party for a child’s account is the adult who registered them. This person is the sole individual financially responsible to SGVCC for all fees and balances, including tuition, registration, and miscellaneous charges. By registering a child, the Responsible Party agrees to assume all financial liability for the account. SGVCC will not act as a mediator for financial disagreements between divorced or separated parents. We are not bound by any divorce decrees, separation agreements, or other legal documents that dictate how parents split financial obligations. In cases of non-payment, our collections process will be directed solely to the designated Responsible Party. All notices, invoices, and communication regarding past-due balances will be sent to this individual. It is the Responsible Party's duty to manage payments from any co-parent and ensure timely payment to SGVCC.
Scholarships
The Community Center offers need-based scholarships upon approval. Families may receive up to 50% assistance for the LOFT, Zoila’s, VAST, and CYO Basketball, and up to 20% assistance for after-school enrichment classes.
Payment Plans
Flexible payment plans are available to support families in managing program costs. Payment plans are an agreed upon amount and time period between Center staff and the Responsible Party as defined above. These plans can be paid either weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly or monthly until payment is made in full. Multiple payment plans can be made at a time to support the ongoing attendance of a student in our programs.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made at least 7 days in advance to receive a refund. A $10 cancellation fee will be applied to all refunds.
